GETTING
HERE By
Air: International access to the Whitsundays is via connecting
flights in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Cairns international airports.
Regular domestic flights fly into both Proserpine on the mainland
or Hamilton Island by QANTAS. Virgin Blue also fly into Proserpine.
By Rail: Queensland Rail operates
regular services into Proserpine from most major cities in Australia.
By Bus: Coach companies offer
regular services between major cities and The Whitsunday's.
By Road: If you choose to drive
to The Whitsunday's the roads are in excellent condition with some
beautiful scenery along the way.
By Ferry: Departing from Shute
Harbour at regular intervals for transfers to islands and for reef
trips.
